Mission Statement
To provide a broad range of first class operational support to the 58th Special Operations Wing, creating the best possible environment to train mission-ready special operations, combat rescue, and national security personnel for the world's best Air Force.

Unit History
Lineage: Constituted as the 58th Airdrome Squadron on 25 Jan 1943 and activated on 1 Feb 1943. It was re-designated as the 58th Airdrome Squadron, Special, on 18 Apr 1943 and disbanded on 1 Apr 1944. It was finally re-constituted and activated on 1 Oct 1991 as the 58th Special Operations Support Squadron.
