JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas –  The Air Force now has an online solution to bring learning professionals together with the launch of the Air Force Learning Professionals website in late December 2019. The site provides news, resources and information to help learning professionals develop and innovate.

A learning professional within the Air Force is anyone who is involved in any aspect of learning experiences to include analysis, design, development, evaluation, curation, procurement and delivery of curriculum, education and training.

Air Education and Training Command’s Force Development Credentialing Division, is currently leading efforts for developing military and civilian learning professionals.

According to Dr. Angela Canada, Credentialing division chief,  “We needed an online solution to bring learning professionals together that was easily accessible anywhere at any time.”

“The goal is to create a community that leverages the talents and creativity of learning professionals across the Air Force and share information to enhance training,” Canada said. “The more opportunities Airmen have to broaden their skill sets, the more they expand and further develop capabilities to bring to the fight.”

The website, which can be found at https://www.learningprofessionals.af.mil/, complements a proactive social media engagement program on Facebook through a public page and a private group. The public Facebook page provides users a place to hold conversations and is open to all. The private group, is specifically for Air Force Learning Professionals to share information and have conversations on specific topics.
