A captain assigned to Lackland Air Force Base was sentenced to 10 years confinement, total forfeitures of pay and allowances, and dismissal from the Air Force after being convicted of committing indecent acts with two children.

A military court-martial at Lackland convicted Capt. Edward Hudson on Dec. 3. Captain Hudson was immediately placed into local military confinement following sentencing Dec. 4. He will eventually be transferred to a long term military correction facility.

The Air Force expects all Airmen to maintain the highest standards of conduct. Allegations of criminal misconduct are thoroughly investigated and, if supported by the evidence, prosecuted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
