Colonel CHRISTOPHER A. MILLER, P.E.

Colonel Miller is the Reserve Advisor to the HQ Air Education and Training Command (HQ AETC) Commander at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. His primary focus is to assist HQ AETC in all Air Force Reserve matters which has over 2,650 Air Force Reserve members providing support to the command that includes Air Force Recruiting Service, two numbered Air Forces, Air University and the largest Joint Base in the Department of Defense. The command operates more than 1,400 trainer, fighter and mobility aircraft, with 23 wings, 10 bases and five geographically separated units. HQ AETC trains more than 293,000 students per year with approximately 60,000 Active Duty, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, civilian and contractor personnel.


Colonel Miller was commissioned in the U.S Air Force in 1995 after graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has served on Active Duty, the Air National Guard and also the Air Force Reserves. During his career he has gained experience by working at the installation, Major Command, Headquarters and Secretariat Air Force levels. Colonel Miller is also a Registered Professional Engineer.


Prior to his current assignment, Colonel Miller also supported the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installation, Environment and Energy (SAF/IE) to help installation leadership interact with community leaders to find and create mutual benefit for installations and communities. The overall Air Force Community Partnership Program supported 63 bases which has generated 500 signed agreements providing $165 million in benefit to the Air Force since its inception in 2013.
