The Tweet trained more than 78,000 U.S. Air Force pilots since it became operational in 1957, as well as numerous nations across the world participating in U.S. training programs. The retirement ceremony officially begins at 9:30 a.m., including the departure of four T-37s being delivered to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group -- also known as the aircraft bone yard -- at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz.
