JBSA hosts its annual Lighting of the Trees Published Dec. 2, 2024 By 502nd Air Base Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The 502nd Force Support Squadron invites the Joint Base San Antonio community to the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremonies to kick off the holiday season. These family-friendly events are a long-standing JBSA tradition that serve to inspire and unite the community during the festive season. These cherished events bring the community together in the spirit of joy and celebration as the base leadership host a “countdown” to flip the switch and light the trees, a presentation of service-specific tree ornaments, a special visit from Santa and a musical treat by U.S. Air Force Band of the West. Join us at each event: JBSA-Lackland Dec. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the Gateway Club, 1650 Kenly Ave., building 2490. JBSA-Randolph Dec. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the "Taj Mahal," building 100.
