The Fitness Center is available with 24/7 access and provides the option for Airmen to prioritize their health with flexibility in their schedule. Whether you are an early riser or a night owl, all you need is your Common Access Card for keyless entry. For personnel without a CAC, a proximity card can be issued from the front counter, which can be used at any time. “Having the option to workout whenever they choose lets people make their own schedule and lets people have the freedom to get their time back.” said Tyler Marsh, CAFB Fitness Center director. The gym features dedicated rooms for cardio, strength training, stretching, and weight training, offering endless options for every fitness level. Whether your goal is to build muscle, improve endurance, or boost flexibility, the variety of options create the perfect environment to stay motivated throughout the year. “We are also planning on incorporating circuit, and station style classes with personal trainers, which will hopefully bring more of an audience.” said Tyler Marsh Personal trainers and group classes are estimated to be available by the start of February, providing Airmen the opportunity to explore workout styles in a fun, and supportive setting. These workouts will incorporate a wide range of exercises that target multiple muscle groups and allow experts to help push the participants beyond their limits. While the gym already hosts line dancing events, Zumba and yoga are set to be available to offer something for everyone. Zumba and line dancing are fun, high-energy workouts that boost cardio fitness, while yoga promotes flexibility, and mental relaxation. Set to be available in February along with the group circuit classes; they are a great way to stay active, reduce stress, and connect with others in a motivating environment. The Fitness Center offers the ideal tools to help Airmen stay consistent, motivated, and on track progress all year long. Regardless of schedule or fitness goals, the convenience and quality provided by the gym ensures Airmen have everything they need to succeed and be supported on their fitness journey.
