Eleven students from the Air Force Air Command and Staff College visited CNN Headquarters
Mr. Jim LeMay, consultant for CNN, discusses military-media relations, Nov. 20, with students from the Air Command and Staff College. The discussion was part of a larger visit by the students to the CNN Headquarters facilities and the Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System, both located in Atlanta, Ga., as part of the elective “The War for Public Opinion.” The course, produced by the U.S. Air Force Public Affairs Center of Excellence, provides future leaders with an understanding of the impact of modern global information environment and the need for members of the armed forces at every level to be prepared to communicate effectively with the public they serve.
