GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Firefighters from the 17th Civil Engineer Squadron fight a simulated building fire during a tornado exercise in the summer of 2009 at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas. Training exercises are conducted quarterly to maintain base disaster and emergency readiness. The 17th Training Wing trains intelligence officer and enlisted members in the intelligence field including imagery analysis, communications signals intelligence production, cryptologic linguists, network intelligence analysis, electronics signal intelligence exploitation, electronic systems security assessment and airborne cryptologic linguists. The 17th Training Wing is also responsible for training firefighters from all branches of the service.
