AFROTC Det 755 earns $160,000 in aviation scholarships

Seven cadets from AFROTC Detachment 755 at the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras are each the recipient of $20,000 in scholarship awards to pursue their private pilot license through the AFROTC "You Can Certify" program. Recipients include, from left, Cadets Anniel Flete, Christian Lebron, Jadriel Delgado, Christopher Bauzo, Jansteven Escribano, Diego Rosado, and, front row, Naiomy Martinez.

AFROTC Det 755 earns $160,000 in aviation scholarships

Four cadets from AFROTC Detachment 755 at the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras are each the recipient of $5,000 scholarships as part of the AFROTC "You Can Fly" program allowing cadets to explore aviation and build foundational skills at a reduced financial burden. Recipients include, from left, Cadets Jennalys Vila, Alanis Colon and Lara Santiago. Also earning the scholarship is Cadet Xavier Alvarez (not pictured).
