Mission Possible: PRT leaders begin training for year in Afghanistan

FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- Army 1st Lt. Dax Burroughs, Team Paktia logistician, gets fitted for individual body armor. Lieutenant Burroughs deployed from Fort Jackson, S.C. The newest body armor includes SAPI (small arms protective insert) plates not only in the front and back torso areas, but has been improved to add side SAPI plates, underarm side protection, shoulder and arm covering and full neck and groin protection. Improvised explosive devices are still the number one cause of combat fatalities in theater, and the latest protection offers the best defense available. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Ken Hall)
