Base hub for deployments
Leaders from the 37th Training Wing at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, wish Airmen good luck as they board a flight Aug. 28 at Kelly Field. Lackland’s Deployment Processing Center and Kelly Field personnel have been busy the past few days and will remain busy for a couple more weeks as more than 1,800 Airmen from 35 bases are aggregating here and deploying to the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility. Lackland recently was designated as the U.S. Western Hub for Air Expeditionary Forces 7 and 8 deployments. (Photo by Robbin Cresswell)
