Air Transportation Flight supplies missions at home and abroad
HOLLIS, Okla. – A cargo pallet safely lands in a field after being dropped from a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft during an airdrop training mission Oct. 30, 2014. The pallets used for training are made of lumber or water and can weigh up to 4,000 pounds. The 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron provides the pallets to the 58th Airlift Squadron used during routine loadmaster training missions based out of Altus Air Force Base.
