Unit History Lineage: Originally constituted as the 58th Maintenance Squadron on 25 Jun 1952 and activated on 10 Jul 1952. Two years later on 8 Nov 1954, the unit became the 58th Field Maintenance Squadron. Although it inactivated on 1 Jul 1958, the Air Force reactivated it on 15 Oct 1969 and changed its name again to the 58th Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 15 Aug 1977. It was re-designated as the 58th Maintenance Squadron on 1 Oct 1991, changed back to the 58th Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1992, and finally to its current name on 1 Apr 1994.
