Mission Statement

​Responsible for producing mission-ready special operations forces and personnel recovery aircraft for student aircrew flight training.  Performs full range of flight line maintenance to include on-equipment repair, inspection, service, launch and recovery supporting the Annual Flying Hour Programs for 17 aircraft covering 3 mission specialized aircraft types consisting of the CV-22 and HC/MC-130J.


Unit History
Lineage: Constituted as the 58th Organizational Maintenance Squadron on 28 Aug 1969 and activated on 15 Oct 1969. It was re-designated as the 58th Aircraft Generation Squadron on 15 Aug 1977 but inactivated on 1 Oct 1991. It was redesignated on 15 Jul 2002 and activated with its current name on 18 Jul 2002.
