Every month, a first sergeant has the honor of choosing a deserving Airman to be presented the First Sergeant Council’s Diamond Sharp Award for an outstanding act or continuous outstanding performance.

For the month of December, Master Sgt. Giles Dame, 49th SFS first sergeant, is proud to present the Diamond Sharp Award to Staff Sgt. Jeffery Keith, 49th Security Forces Squadron communication and technology integration administrator.

Staff Sgt. Jeffery Keith volunteered over 200 hours designing and creating a morale area for over 250 49th SFS members. Previously, the 49th SFS did not have a designated area for squadron functions and this project contributed to the improvement of the morale and welfare of his unit.
