"Aim High" total force recruiting phone app on "The Air Force Starts Here" pod Published June 18, 2020 Air Education and Training Command Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas – A discussion on the features of the Air Force Recruiting Service’s new “Aim High” phone application is the focus of the latest episode of "The Air Force Starts Here," released June 15, 2020. On the pod, Dan Hawkins from the Air Education and Training Command public affairs office sat down virtually with a couple of recruiting professionals from the Air Force Recruiting Service’s innovation team, Chief Master Sgt Jason O’Donley and Tech. Sgt. David Valencia, both of whom helped design, test and field the new total force recruiting “Aim High” phone app that will allow our recruiting team to communicate better with recruits throughout the process of joining the service on active-duty, or going to the Air National Guard or U.S. Air Force Reserves. O’Donley and Valencia go in-depth on the “one stop shop” tool that will help potential recruits find Air Force related info and for recruiters to virtually connect with potential future Airmen in a way they are used to – their phones. The idea is to help the Air Force find elite Airman, as well as guides recruits to discover their passions through intuitive, interactive means. The professional development podcasts are designed to help communicate and inform Total Force Airmen across the globe on relevant, timely topics related to the recruiting, training, education and development fields and can be listened to on the government network on the AETC website, or via mobile application as well as on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play.
