MTI, MTL developmental special duties focus of latest "The Air Force Starts Here" podcasts

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas – A two-part look at Military Training Instructor and Military Training Leader developmental special duties is highlighted on the latest episodes of "The Air Force Starts Here," both released Aug. 12, 2020.

On a special two-episode series on the podcast, Chief Master Sgt. Stefan Blazier, 37th Training Wing command chief, sits down with separately with both military training instructors and military training leaders from the 37th TRW to discuss the impact of those jobs on both the Airmen they lead and in the MTI/MTL’s personal and professional development.

Blazier talks with the MTIs and MTLs about how quickly they learned the developmental special duty role they are filling was as important as it is to both the Airmen they lead and themselves, as well as how the DSD assignment has directly resulted in their leadership growth, and much more.

The professional development podcasts are designed to help communicate and inform Total Force Airmen across the globe on relevant, timely topics related to the recruiting, training, education and development fields and can be listened to on the government network on the AETC website, or via mobile application as well as on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play.
