JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas – Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, commander of Air Education and Training Command, hosts the fourth episode of Real Talk: Race and Diversity in the Air Force Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. on AETC’s Facebook page. This episode will focus on diversity within Air Force Special Warfare careers.

With Webb, for this episode, will be: Chief Master Sgt. Robert Zackery III, 47th Flying Training Wing command chief; and Master Sgt. Stephen Thomas, executive assistant to the AETC command chief –all three have accomplished careers in special warfare.

Webb was previously the commander of Air Force Special Operations Command and is a UH-1N pilot. Zackery and Thomas are both Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) specialists and are Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) qualified.

“The path of an enlisted special operator starts here in AETC,” said Webb. “We must recruit the best and most diverse force, while training them for tomorrow’s fight and ensuring we are imparting them with the Air Force Core Values.”

Enlisted special warfare career fields include combat controllers, pararescue, special reconnaissance, and tactical air control party.

Viewers are encouraged to submit questions on the AETC Facebook page during the event.
