The 2013 promotion cycle study reference CDCs, in addition to those published for 2012, are now available on the e-WAPS Online Reference Library Database (e-WORLD).

"For Airmen testing out-of-cycle, having access to past versions of the CDCs ensures they have appropriate study material for the cycle they're competing in," said Dwayne Hafer, Air Education and Training Command Airman Advancement Division.

e-WORLD is available to .mil users at http://cdc.aetc.af.mil. Once downloaded to their military desktop, Airmen can e-mail the documents or burn them to a CD in order to transfer them to a personal electronic device. These CDCs are in a portable document format that supports most mobile devices.

"The WAPS CDC online library is not identical to the Air University online library used for Airmen in upgrade training," Hafer said. "Those Airmen in upgrade training still need to contact their unit training manager to obtain access to their CDCs."

As a backup to printed CDCs, e-WORLD was made available to all Airmen Feb. 1, 2012. Since then, 233,771 volumes have been downloaded from more than 350 .mil locations worldwide, including forward deployed locations.
