Singapore AFTC commander tours Laughlin Published Jan. 12, 2012 47th Flying Training Wing Public Affairs LAUGHLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Laughlin hosted three guests here Jan. 10 from Singapore's Air Force visiting Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Students from their country. Col. Kok Siong Lim, commander of Singapore's Air Force Training Command, and his entourage toured Laughlin installations to see what life is like on base and how Laughlin Airmen carry out their mission of training world class pilots, leaders and mission ready Airmen. The tour took Lim and his party from the Laughlin Manor to the Wing Staff building for briefings followed by a whirlwind tour of the pilot training squadrons and ended the day at the student dorms.
