Air Education and Training Command

Nurses from Wilford Hall Medical Center and the Air Force Recruiting Service participated in the 34th annual National Association of Hispanic Nurses Conference July 21-24 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Antonio, Texas. More than 300 Hispanic nurses from across the U. S. attended the event. Lt. Col. Holly Ortega, Capt. Karen Fisher and 2nd Lt. Marisol Pacheco, 59th Inpatient Operations Group, volunteered to serve on a military panel to discuss life as an Air Force nurse and educational benefits.
