Air Force continues partnership with Professional Bull Riders

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Air Force Recruiting Service officials announced the continuation of its partnership with the Professional Bull Riders, Inc., May 11 making the Air Force the Official Armed Services branch of PBR. 

"The Air Force is extremely excited about partnering with the Professional Bull Riders again this year," said Brig. Gen. A.J. Stewart, Air Force Recruiting Service commander. "The Air Force and PBR both represent excellence. I am proud to be associated with this world-class organization and to have the opportunity to inspire and engage with the young men and women who enjoy these events." 

The partnership with PBR is designed to assist with recruiting, outreach and awareness while demonstrating the Air Force's core values of Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do.

"Everyone involved with PBR -- from bull riders to stock contractors to staff -- hold the brave men and women of the Air Force and their values in such high regard," said Sean Gleason, PBR Chief operating officer. "Not only is it an honor and privilege for us to represent the United States Air Force in its efforts to inspire and engage the American public, it is a responsibility that fits naturally into the core of our own brand attributes."

The U.S. Air Force will be an opening ceremonies partner which will include Air Force footage for opening videos, conducting Delayed Entry Program swear-in ceremonies, color guard, honoring war veterans, and vocalist/musical group opportunities.  

The  Air Force will work to create local activation and outreach opportunities that include high school visits, where the PBR will provide assets such as bull riders, bullfighters, live bulls, equipment and more; as well as participate in other activities such as National FFA Organization Leadership Conferences.

The PBR is the premier bull riding organization in the world, boasting contestants from the United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil and Canada. Its events air weekly on VERSUS and on NBC and FOX throughout the year.
