Air Education and Training Command Ball open to all Airmen Published Jan. 7, 2009 By Capt. John Severns AETC Public Affairs RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Registration for the Air Education and Training Command Ball, being held Jan. 16 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in downtown San Antonio, is open to all Airmen and their guests. The ball is being held in conjunction with the AETC Symposium, which is drawing more than 3,000 people from across the Air Force to San Antonio Jan. 15 and 16. The ball is open to Airmen and their guests whether or not they attend the Symposium, according to AETC officials. The ball is AETC's largest formal event of the year. Gen. William R. Fraser III, the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, will be the keynote speaker, and former AETC commander Gen. Lloyd W. "Fig" Newton will be the emcee.
