AETC announces 2006 Fire Emergency Services Annual Awards

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  Air Education and Training Command is pleased to announce the AETC winners for the following 2006 DOD Fire Emergency Services Annual Awards and our nominees for the Air Force level competition.

Department of Defense Military Fire Officer of the Year: Master Sgt. Christopher Horsman, 12th CES, Randolph AFB.

Department of Defense Military Firefighter of the Year: Senior Airman Darnell Strausheim, 14th CES, Columbus AFB.

Department of Defense Civilian Fire Officer of the Year: Robert Richardson II, 325th CES, Tyndall AFB.

Department of Defense Civilian Firefighter of the Year: Linc Weinrich, 14th CES, Columbus AFB.

Department of Defense Fire Prevention Program of the Year: Sheppard Fire Emergency Flight, 82nd CES, Sheppard AFB.

Department of Defense Fire Department of the Year: Goodfellow Fire Emergency Services Flight, 17th CES, Goodfellow AFB.
