The 2006 AETC Crew Chief of the Year Award Published Feb. 16, 2007 RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Air Education and Training Command is pleased to announce the 2006 AETC Crew Chief of the Year Award. And the winner is: Staff Sgt. David C. Thies, 56th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Luke AFB, Ariz. Congratulations to Staff Sgt. Thies for his professionalism and many outstanding achievements that serve as vivid reminders that our most valuable resource is, and always will be, our people. Staff Sgt. Thies will represent AETC in the CMSAF Thomas N. Barnes (Crew Chief of the Year) Competition.
