311th TRS welcomes new commander

PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif. -- The 311th Training Squadron conducted a change of command ceremony on Soldier Field at the Presidio of Monterey, June 4.

The 311th TRS trains Airmen in basic language skills and advanced foreign languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center prior to students arriving to Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, for follow-on cryptologic linguist training.

The Presidio of Monterey welcomed Lt. Col. William Taylor, incoming commander of the 311th TRS, and thanked Lt. Col. Nicci Rucker, outgoing commander of the 311th TRS, for her hard work and dedication.

Col. Stephanie Kelley, 517th Training Group commander, presided over the ceremony.
