An HH-60 Pave Hawk commanded by Maj. Howard Palmer, aircraft commander, flew in from the 512th Rescue Squadron, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, into a 344th Training Squadron landing zone after completing a flyover for the Basic Military Training graduation ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland July 21.

Students, instructors and staff members across the 37th Training Wing interacted with the aircrew and checked out the airframe.

The 344th Training Squadron routinely requests various airframes to visit in order to give students in technical training, who will eventually interact or work on these airframes, an opportunity to see them.
