PRESIDIO OF MONTERY, Calif. --  

The 517th Training Group, located at Presidio of Monterey, Calif., hosted the first Drill Down competition since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Students from the 311th and 314th Training Squadrons competed for the golden rifle; the trophy awarded to the team that performs best across all categories of standard and exhibition drill.

The 314th TRS team emerged victorious, winning by the narrowest of margins. 

Next quarter, teams from the 517th TRG, 17th TRG, and Goodfellow joint service units will compete against one another.
