Bryce Rudisell, hosted by the Marine Corps Detachment Goodfellow and the 312th Training Squadron at the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Oct. 7. "The 17th Training Wing and San Angelo are deeply saddened by this tragedy," said Col. Matthew Reilman, 17th Training Wing commander. "Staff Sgt. Rudisell was an essential member of our 17th Training Wing and Joint Service family, he will be sincerely missed and his tragic death is being felt all across our wing. Please keep his family, friends and our teammates in your thoughts and prayers." Staff Sgt. Rudisell was a fire training instructor at the Louis F. Garland DoD Fire Academy and assigned to MCD Goodfellow, and was killed Oct. 2, in San Angelo, Texas. Staff Sgt. Rudisell was posthumously promoted to Staff Sgt. during the memorial service.
