I feel like I’ve found ‘my people’ across many different career fields and that far outweighs the long work hours and deployments.” Pettit-Castor credits her leadership and fellow wingmen at the 362d TRS for being able to balance being an MTL with the busy softball schedule. “I have a good team that can take the load and handle it while I’m away,” said Pettit-Castor. “It’s important to note that playing softball helps me balance the stressors of being an MTL flight chief, but knowing that the team can bear the load, makes me extremely lucky to have the team here at 362.” For more information about the DAF Sports program, visit: https://dafsports.com/
