U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Donald Huggins, 69th Fighter Squadron instructor pilot, welcomes attendees to a farewell ceremony for the last F-16 Fighting Falcon simulators, Nov. 22, 2024, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Currently under decommissioning, the simulators have been used since 1975 and completed their last training missions in September of this year, as Luke AFB nears the full transition to an F-35 Lightning II training base. Various parts of the simulators will be reorganized and used to train Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard pilots in the future. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jakob Hambright)
