Dr. Stacia Haynie, president of Midwestern State University, was inducted into the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) Hall of Fame for her leadership and commitment to strengthening the partnership between MSU, Sheppard Air Force Base and the ENJJPT program.

“Her leadership and dedication demonstrate the power of community-military partnerships,” said Col. Jeffrey Shulman, 80th Flying Training Wing commander. “By directly supporting our Airmen and families, Dr. Haynie enables our core mission: flying and fixing jets to produce fighter pilots for the NATO alliance.”

Haynie has consistently recognized the critical connection between the Wichita Falls community and Sheppard AFB, championing initiatives that enhance the educational and personal lives of service members, international partners and their families.

A key milestone in this partnership was the opening of the MSU Military Education Center in April 2026. The project stemmed from discussions with Sheppard AFB leadership to better serve the educational needs of Airmen and provides a centralized, one-stop resource for military-affiliated students.

Haynie’s leadership has also been instrumental in expanding support for the ENJJPT program. MSU now offers significant scholarships and in-state tuition waivers for ENJJPT participants, as well as their spouses and dependents, directly benefiting NATO allies stationed at Sheppard AFB.

The ENJJPT Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on the 80th Flying Training Wing, its mission and its vital connection to the local community. The Perot family were the most recent inductees prior to Haynie, recognized for their longstanding support to Sheppard AFB and the ENJJPT program.
