Gen. Edward A. Rice Jr., commander of Air Education and Training Command, completed his final Air Force flight Oct. 7, in a T-38 Talon at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. The general retired Oct. 10 after more than 35 years of Air Force service and 4,000 flying hours.
