Luke says farewell to F-16 sims

Robert McCutchen, Lockheed Martin networked training center operations manager, during a farewell ceremony for the last F-16 Fighting Falcon simulators, Nov. 22, 2024, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. McCutchen, a former F-16 pilot with over 5,000 hours, has served as the NTC’s operations manager since 2018. Currently under decommissioning, the simulators have been in use since 1975 and completed their last training missions in September of this year, as Luke AFB nears the full transition to an F-35 Lightning II training base.
