During a ceremony held at the Combat Control School honoring special tactics operators who have been killed in the line of duty, students of the school sounded off with the names of the fallen. The ceremony concluded a six-mile journey around the Pope Field, N.C. flightline while carrying a 1,250-pound log dedicated to Staff Sgt.
