Eglin AFB conducts first engine run on F-35B
EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Marine Corps pilot Maj. Joseph Bachmann, Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 501 at the 33rd Fighter Wing at Elgin AFB, Fla., operates aircraft systems in conjunction with the plane captain, known as a crew chief in the Air Force, and other maintenance personnel to monitor the joint strike fighter's health during the first engine run of the F-35B March 14.
