A Look Inside AETC

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- A 66th Training Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape technical school student looks on as the students prepare to move northeast after triangulating their position near the Columbian River. The 336th Training Group is the sole manager of all U.S. Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape training. Instruction concentrates on the principles, techniques and skills necessary to survive in any environment and return home. The 336th TRG conducts ten courses at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.; the Arctic Survival Course at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska; and water survival training at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Fla.
