LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. – A 56th Fighter Wing F-16 waits for clearance to taxi on the runway at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. The base is home to the 56th Fighter Wing, the largest fighter wing in the world with 165 aircraft, 26 squadrons, four tenant units, and nearly 8,000 military and civilian personnel.
