2 AETC NCOs receive DoD-level honors

Jerilyn Quintanilla, 59th Medical Wing Public Affairs at JBSA-Lackland, Texas, receives the Thomas Jefferson Award (photojournalism category) from Brent Colburn, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, during an award ceremony at the Defense Information School, Fort George G. Meade, Maryland May 9, 2014. Quintanilla won for her combined skills in writing and photography, which she used to tell the story about the “Candy Bomber” and his reenactment of delivering candy to children during the Berlin Airlift campaign.
