41st Freedom Flyer Reunion

Retired Air Force Col. Wayne Erwin, Red River Valley Association; and Air Force Col. Gerald V. Goodfellow, 12th Flying Training Wing commander, place the wreath at the Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Missing Man Monument during a wreath laying ceremony to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action March 28. For the past 41 years, the 560th Flying Training Squadron has hosted the Freedom Flyer Reunion for members of the 4th Allied POW Wing. In addition to the wreath laying ceremony, each year a symposium that includes speakers representing POWs and spouses of POWs is also held at JBSA-Randolph. (U.S. Air Force photo by Joel Martinez)
