Lt. Col. Barry Tye, 43rd Flying Training Squadron, glances out the window of a T-1A Jayhawk after landing from his fini-flight Aug. 14 on the Columbus Air Force Base flight line. The fini-flight is a military aviation tradition and here marked Tye’s retirement from the Air Force upon completion of his final flight on Columbus AFB.
