BMT trainees complete last run on closing obstacle course

Basic military trainees climb up an obstacle before climbing down the other side Sept. 24, 2014at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland’s basic military training obstacle course.. The course, which closed permanently the same day, was replaced with the ‘Leadership Reaction Course’ at JBSA-Lackland Medina Annex. The new course became operational Sept. 29, 2014 and was integrated into the Creating Leaders, Airmen, and Warriors mission which is part of the basic expeditionary Airmen’s training, also known as BEAST week during BMT.
