Ryan "Mac" McIntosh, Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team outfielder, connects with a pitch during the first game of a double header Jan. 24, 2015, in Southlake, Texas. The U.S. Army veteran lost part of his right leg below the knee while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. McIntosh stepped on a pressure plate land mine during a foot patrol two months into his first deployment Dec. 8, 2010.
