SERE: Man is the environmental impact
Todd Foster, 336th Training Group training area manager, checks out a sapling July 29, 2015, at Colville National Forest, Wash. Between 500 to 1,200 trees per area have been planted in U.S. Air Force Survival School training areas because of the efforts from Foster and Rick Hall, Air Force liaison to the U.S. Forest Service. This effort gives nature a jumpstart by 10 to 15 years. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Nicolo J. Daniello
