POWs wife the picture of resilience
Retired Air Force Col. Carlyle "Smitty" Harris reflects on his time as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam while looking at a plaque honoring his family at the Tupelo (Miss.) Veterans Park Feb. 3, 2016. Harris' spouse Louise faced a myriad of obstacles during the time her husband spent in captivity during the Vietnam War but prevailed in part due to her resilience.
