Cyber security technicians protect Luke network
Airman 1st Class Stephen Lowe, 56th Communications Squadron cyber security technician, places a hard drive into a degausser July 31, 2019, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. A degausser is used to destroy classified and unclassified material on hard drives, solid-state drives, film and more. It uses a magnet to wipe removable storage off of the item.
