97 AMW Leaders Learn to Sort Cattle
Bull Watkins, Watkins Ranch owner in Altus, Okla., explains the rules for the annual cattle sorting competition to participating 97th Air Mobility Wing commanders, August 19, 2019, at the Watkins Ranch. The horseman’s objective is to herd a numbered cow, along with however many other cattle they can get in numerical order, into a separate ring. After two minutes the number of cattle herded are counted, and the 97 AMW leader with the most amount of cattle wins. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Breanna Klemm)
