Maj. Gen. Andrea D. Tullos, 2nd Air Force commander, uses a virtual reality fear of heights assessment at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, Nov. 19, 2019. The fear of heights simulation is a tool used by the 366th Training Squadron electrical systems apprentice course to gauge Airmen’s fear of heights so instructors can better understand the needs of Airmen before beginning class. Tullos and her team visited units across the base to understand operations at Sheppard, find solutions for complex issues and see what resources are needed to improve training.
