EMS makes face shields, masks for medical personnel
Tech. Sgt. Robert Burns, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of metals technology, prepares to print a face shield part April 9, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Members of the 56th EMS printed 30 face shields and 120 tension bars for 56th Medical Group personnel to use amidst the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic. The 56th EMS and 944th Maintenance Group have implemented total force integration, combining the efforts of active duty and reserve military and civilians to combat the spread of COVID-19.
